Common responses may also be set up and used by drivers using the To Dispatch Selected Checkbox button check box when adding a messageClosedText messages exchanged between drivers and dispatchers using TrackIt.. This functionality is designed to help drivers stay safe on the road with “one-touch” responses while also keeping dispatch adequately informed.

Canned message example

FOR SAFETY PURPOSES: VMx and M4x hardware setups allow drivers to see incoming messages on their tablet, but prevents any responses until the vehicle is stopped.

Adding a new message

Message Number

Indicates the orderClosedIndividual requests for specific materials that are associated with a job. Some jobs may consist of multiple orders of varying products. the message appears in the list of canned messages for both drivers and dispatchers.

Message

Text of the canned message.

From Dispatch

Sets the message as available for dispatch to send as a canned message.

To Dispatch

Sets the message as available for employees to send to dispatch as a canned message.
